"Have you been thinking about dance lessons for your child (or even yourself)? Have you thought about what you want these lessons and classes to accomplish? I never would have thought almost 4 years ago that dance classes would help in the development of my daughter so much! Thanks to Sara Thurber at South Shore Dance Academy, my daughter is turning into a strong, graceful, poised, confident dancer and young lady, she is also learning about giving back to her community. Not only is Sara an incredible dancer and dance instructor, but she is a fun, caring, strong, motivated, dedicated and amazingly talented woman that helps to nurture children with these qualities as well. So, if you want to introduce someone into your and your child's life that will be a positive role model as well as a fantastic dance instructor, look for South Shore Dance Academy!"
"Sara at South Shore Dance Academy made the first dance experience for my wife and I a fun and memorable learning experience. We gave her the song we wanted to dance to, she drew up a fully choreographed routine, and met with us on multiple occasions to make sure we had the whole thing down. She went above and beyond what we were expecting and allowed us to really enjoy what would have normally been a nerve wrecking experience for my wife and I. We would recommend her services to anyone planning a wedding, looking for a new activity with their significant other, or seeking a professional and talented teachers for their children to learn from. We can't begin to explain how valuable her work with us was!"
"Passion, dedication, and professionalism. This studio has it all. Miss Sara is both fantastic and capable as an instructor; and she stands on a long list of on the stage accomplishments. Both of my daughters love her and the studio!"
"My daughter loves SSDA and Miss Sara! She’s had a blast dancing there for the last three years and always looks forward to class."
"When I was three I always loved to dance and wanted to take dance lessons. So my mom was searching for somewhere I could try dancing out and she found South Shore Dance Academy. As soon as I took my first class I fell in love with dance. Miss Sara is also such a good role model and such a great teacher. We do different kinds of community service dances and events and nursing homes almost every year. Miss Sara not only teaches us dance, she teaches us responsibility and how to feel more confident. Even during the pandemic, Miss Sara still finds ways to keep everyone at the studio dancing and seeing each other through zoom. I have also made so many great friends at the studio and love dancing with everyone. I have been dancing with SSDA for six years now and have enjoyed every second I have spent with the studio, my friends, and especially Miss Sara! I love South Shore Dance Academy and can't wait for another great year." ---Madison, age 10
