Students should wear a leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. They should also bring water and a snack (no nuts, please!) In this program, students will learn what it's like to create a full dance performance. They will be involved in creating a story, characters, costumes, and scenery/props. Our next 6-week session of Mommy (or Daddy) and Me dance classes is right around the corner! Classes will be held on Mondays from 10:30-11:15 and Saturdays from 11:30-12:15. Classes will begin on Monday, March 30 and Saturday, April 4.

Mommy (or Daddy) and Me classes are a great way to introduce your child to music and movement. In class, we work on rhythm and counting to the music, body awareness ("Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes", anyone?), gross motor skills, listening, and FUN! We utilize a number of props, including instruments, hula hoops, bubbles, and a parachute. Come try it out some time!
